View the upside down traffic light in the Tippery Hill neighborhood; believed to be the only green-on-top traffic light in the world. Uncover the impressive history of the Erie Canal at the beginning and end of this four day tour. Spend time in the picturesque village of Skaneateles; featured in O magazine as number one on Oprahs list of 60 Charming American Towns You Havent Heard of But Should Visit ASAP. Cruise on Skaneateles Lake; one of the cleanest bodies of water in the world. Enjoy the views of multi-million-dollar estates; some that can only be viewed from the water. David Muir who hosts World News Tonight and 20/20 likes to retreat to his Skaneateles lakeside estate when he isnt on our TV screens. The evening brings you to a performance of State Fair at the Merry Go Round Playhouse (subject to change), a historic carousel building and Upstate New Yorks most popular theatre. We continue our journey on day three to experience a natural wonder of the world, Niagara Falls USA. Hear the roar of 600,000 gallons of water falling right before your eyes on the iconic Maid of the Mist. You will visit the oldest park in America, Niagara Falls state park aboard the trolley; the best way to see and hear the history of Niagara Falls. Summer is the best time to visit with plenty of room to explore. Your hotel is in the center of it all with so much to do on your own. One thing you do not want to miss is the Illumination of the Falls. Beginning at dusk, witness the Falls illuminated in an array of rainbow colors.

The deluxe motor coach will depart from Audubon, New Jersey for Syracuse, NY. We will make a coffee stop en route. Arrive in Syracuse, NY. Upon arrival visit Salt City Market for lunch on your own. Enjoy a step-on-guided tour of downtown Syracuse including the Erie Canal Museum. The Erie Canal Museum showcases the incredible story of the Erie Canal and the Nationally Registered Weighlock Building built in 1850, the last remaining structure of its kind. Experience a part of history that played an imperative role in the growth and development of commerce in the United States. Next we will check into our hotel Hampton Inn and Suites Syracuse North - featuring their comfy Hampton Bed, a mini-fridge, microwave, flat panel HDTV and easy to operate alarm clock/radio. desk with free Wi-Fi. DDay 2
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning. Start your walk-through American History at the Willard Memorial Chapel. Experience the beauty of the only complete and unaltered Tiffany chapel known to exist. Enjoy this extremely rare example of the work of Louis C. Tiffany and Tiffany Glass and Decoration Co. and enjoy a private organ concert. Lunch and shopping on your own in Skaneateles. A picturesque village situated on the north shore of Skaneateles Lake. O Magazine named this Finger Lakes village number one on Oprah’s list of 60 Charming American Towns You Haven’t Heard of But Should Visit ASAP. Enjoy a scenic boat cruise on Skaneateles Lake with Mid-Lakes Navigation aboard the Judge Ben Wiles. Skaneateles is known as one of the cleanest bodies of water in the world. The Judge Ben Wiles was built by the Wiles family, descendants of Gustav Stickley, Stickley Furniture founder. Sample wines at Anyela’s Vineyards while taking in a more fabulous view of Skaneateles Lake an excellent photo opportunity with family and friends . Dinner included this evening, entree options are: A.) Baked Haddock w/lemon butter served with a side of tartar sauce and lemon. B.) Chicken Parmesan w/ Pasta Marinara boneless breast of chicken seasoned, breaded & toped with marinara sauce and mozzarella, served with pasta vegtables. C.) Day 3
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning. After breakfast depart for North Tonawanda, NY. Visit Platter’s Chocolates for shopping on your own - In 1938, Carl Platter decided to what friends and family said he did best, make chocolate. Not just any chocolate however, but the chocolate North Tonawanda has come to know and love Orange Chocolate. Carl then started Platter’s Chocolate part time in his basement. Hence the story begins. After your Platter's Choclate visit lunch will be enjoyed at the Wurlitzer Building- the Wurlitzer Building serves as the gateway to Niagra County. The building's grand tower is a beacon of the past, present, and future, it marks the building as a familiar and beloved landmark. The sprawling warehouse began as the North Tonawanda Barrel Oregan Factory. The Wurlitzer Company purchased it in 1908 and put it on the map as a producer of world-class theater organs and employing over 3,000 people. Your entree lunch choices are; A.) Chicken Francaise- batter-dipped boneless chicken breast with a lemon butter sauce. B.) Garlic Herbed Tenderloin Tips with Tzatziki drizzle. C.) Eggplant Roulade- breaded, ricotta, mozzarella aand marinara. All entres are served with house salad with balsamic dressing, rolls, and butter or enhanced olive oil, garlic red skin mash potatoe and vegetable, Chef's choice dessert, and coffee/tea. Please call in to make your entree lunch selection. After Lunch depart for Niagara Falls, NY. Board the Trolley Tour of Niagara Falls State Park - gives passengers an overview of the park and offers historical anecdotes, fun facts, and tips for checking out the park’s most popular attractions. Take the elevator to the top of the U.S. Observation Tower. Extending out dramatically over Niagara Gorge, this architectural wonder affords unobstructed views of the wild cascades of Niagara Falls. Next, we take the elevator to the base of the gorge to experience the raging whitewater as we board the world-famous Maid of the Mist for an up-close view of the American and Canadian Falls. Raincoats provide! Check into your hotel for the evening, the Doubletree hotel located right on the Niagara River where you can explore the bustling area or walk to the Seneca Casino for a little gambling. Dinner is on your own tonight.
B, LDay 4
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel this morning. After breakfast Depart for Lockport. Embark on the Lockport Locks and Erie Canal Cruises - This is a unique 2-hour cruise past many of the historic sites and five original locks. The cruise includes being raised and lowered 50 feet in the only double set of locks on the Erie Canal. For lunch this afternoon you will enjoy a lunch buffet at Canalside. Depart for home approximate arrival back to audubon is 9:30PM
