Maryland Crab Trail …“Sea, Shells, Seafood and Wine”!!

If you love crabs, boat rides, & wine then this trip is for you! You will learn all about the harvesting of the famous Chesapeake Crustation on our first stop along the trail at Bay Hundred Seafood. See how they are picked, graded, and packaged for distribution. View the daily labor that goes into bringing us the delicious crabmeat we enjoy any time of the year! Hungry? We move just a few steps next door to Chesapeake Landing for an authentic Eastern Shore meal featuring a variety of dishes, including seafood and chicken, homemade salads, and tasty regional desserts. When your finished your lunch, if you would like, you can go into the Fresh Seafood Market to shop for crabs, oysters, clams, shrimp and more, so bring your cooler! They even have prepared foods to take home for dinner. We then travel down to the town and docks of St. Michaels for a little free time on your own. Take a stroll, go shopping or just relax along this busy waterfront community. Next we board the Patriot and enjoy an hour long cruise down the Miles River as our Captain relates the lifestyle and history of St. Michael's "the town that fooled the British". Cash bar and refreshments available on board. One last stop before returning home is a visit to the beautiful Chateau Bu-De Winery & Vineyard, Bohemia Manor Farm located in Chesapeake City. Savor the flavors as we enjoy a wine flight and a personal charcuterie board. Don’t forget to pick up a bottle or two or more of your favorite wines to bring home to enjoy. Return home with happy memories of the “Land of Pleasant Living”.
