Enjoy two nights at Tara, an Elegant Inn with a Gone with the Wind flavor throughout! Revel in the 19th-century elegance of the mansion, built in 1854, a period of utmost style and sophistication. The Greek Revival-style mansion decorated with fascinating pieces of Civil War memorabilia and artifacts, making it feel like you have been transported back in time. At Tara — A Country Inn, dedication to exceptional service, dining, and history is still alive and well. The combination of the property’s rich history, unique Greek revival architecture, and an abundance of fascinating memorabilia invoke an Old South feel reminiscent of Gone with the Wind. Each luxurious room has a fireplace plus Jacuzzi or large sunken tub. The Inn also has an indoor and outdoor pool! This trip is perfect for a quick getaway with friends! We will visit Kraynak's Christmasland (for our December date), sample excellent chocolate at Daffin's candies and visit the Avenue of 444 Flags. On the way home we will make a stop at Apple Castle Farm. Included in your package: Accommodations, 2 buffet breakfasts, 2 family style dinners, and 2 afternoon teas.
