This morning meet your step-on tour guide at the Dorchester County Visitor Center in Cambridge, MD and travel past landmarks that were important not only to the life of Harriet Tubman, but also to local African-American history. You will hear about Harriet Tubman's many accomplishments followed by a visit to the Underground Railroad Visitor Center & State Park. Enjoy a home-cooked buffet-style meal at Old Salty's Restaurant and Gift Shop on Hoopers Island. The meal features seafood items like crab cakes, fish, and clam strips, along with non-seafood items like chicken, tossed salad, vegetables, and more! Enjoy a slice of homemade pie for dessert! End your day visiting theHarriet Tubman Museum and Educational Center before returning home.
9:30 a.m. Meet Step-On Tour Guide at Dorchester County Visitors Center - Tour guide will board the bus and accompany you throughout the day.
12:45 p.m. Seafood buffet-style Meal at Old Saltys Restaurant & Gift Shop, Hoopers Island. Meal typically includes crab cakes (one per person), baked chicken, clam strips, fried fish nuggets, corn, salad, and an assortment of pie slices for dessert. Water and iced tea are included for drinks.
