Day 1

7:30am Depart Audubon, NJ
5:30pm Enjoy an included dinner at an elegant restaurant in Hotel Florence serving an extensive menu of upscale cuisine.
7:00pm Board and depart for hotel
7:30pm Check into hotel for the night

Day 2

8:00am Enjoy included breakfast at the hotel and check out.
9:00am Board and depart.
11:30am Enjoy included lunch at Charleston Crab House. A casual eatery with a convivial atmosphere, serving a crab-heavy menu of classic seafood.
1:00pm Board and depart.
1:15pm Arrive at Mcleod Plantation Historic Site. McLeod Plantation was built on the riches of sea island cotton - and on the backs of enslaved people whose work and culture are embedded in the Lowcountry's very foundation. It is a living tribute to the men and women and their descendants that persevered in their efforts to achieve freedom, equality, and justice.
3:30pm Board and depart for your hotel.
5:00pm Check into hotel for the next 3-nights
6:15pm Board and depart for welcome dinner.
6:30pm This evening, enjoy an included welcome dinner, omplete with an appearance by "Forrest Gump" himself and "Jenny," who will entertain with sounds of the spirit of Beaufort. Also enjoy an included signature "Jenny" cocktail with your meal.
8:30pm Board and depart for hotel
8:45pm Return to the hotel for the evening.

Day 3

8:00am Enjoy included breakfast at the hotel.
9:00am Walk two blocks to The Beaufort Marina's Coastal Expeditions and enjoy the Beaufort Dolphin and History Boat Cruise.
9:30am Board bus for cruise
10:00am Embark and cruise. Beaufort was meant to be seen by water. Departing the downtown Beaufort marina at the Waterfront Park, this fun escape is the perfect introduction to Beaufort's incredible history and abundant wildlife.
11:30am Dock. Meet your motorcoach. Board and depart with guide
12:00pm Arrive at the Penn Center. A South Carolina Historical Legacy and An American Cultural Treasure. Tucked in the heart of South Carolina Sea Islands surrounded by glimmering marshes and nestled beneath the silvery moss-draped limbs of massive live Oaks, is Penn Center, the site of former Penn School, one of the country's first schools for formerly enslaved individuals. Penn Center is one of the most significant African American historical and cultural institutions in existence today. Located on St. Helena Island, one of the most beautiful and historically distinct of the South Carolina Sea Islands, and at the heart of the Gullah culture. Enjoy an authentic lunch today, a Low Country Shrimp Boil, AKA Frogmore Stew, served at the Penn Center where we will hear the "Tales from the Land of Gullah" from a local storyteller and historical interpreter.
2:00pm Visit Darrah Hall. Darrah Hall is the oldest building on the campus of the Penn Center and contains temporary exhibits about the origins of Reconstruction and Education in the region.
2:30pm Board and depart.
3:00pm Experience Ft. Freemont, a former military installation, on a guided tour. The fort and battery are historically significant as an example of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century miliary architecture and as one of two surviving coastal fortifications in the United States intact from the Spanish-American War era.
4:30pm Board and depart.
5:00pm Arrive at MacDonald's Marketplace for an included Welcome Reception of locally produced foods and one-of-a-kind Low Country shopping.
6:00pm Board and depart on Gullah heritage tour. Stops at the guide's discretion.
7:00pm Arrive at Seaside Bar & Grill for an included farewell seafood fest and live entertainment from a local guitarist.
8:30pm Board and depart.
9:00pm Return to the hotel for the evening.

7:00am Enjoy included breakfast at the hotel.
8:00am Board and depart.
9:15am Arrive at the Savannah Visitor Center to use the restrooms and watch a film on Historic Savannah.
9:30am Board your Old Savannah Tours Trolley and take a Private Overview Tour of Historic Savannah. This tour includes the Forrest Gump film scene locations including Chippewa Square and the church from where the father fell- St. John's church.
11:00am Arrive for a tour of the Green-Meldrim House. After the Union troops captured Savannah in 1864, Gen. Sherman occupied the house and used it as a headquarters until the end of the Civil War. It was in this house in December 1864 that Sherman composed his famous telegram to President Lincoln, in which he communicated his desire to present to the President "as a Christmas Gift the City of Savannah, with one hundred and fifty heavy guns and plenty of ammunition, and also about twenty-five thousand bales of cotton"; the cotton belonged to Charles Green, the owner of the House. On January 12, 1865 Sherman and Secretary of War Edwin Stanton met with 20 Black Baptist and Methodist ministers-including Garrison Frazier, Ulysses L. Houston, and William Gaines-in what would later be called the "Savannah Colloquy" at the house. Their discussion directly led to Sherman's Special Field Orders No. 15, which included the famous forty acres and a mule land allotment. Note: No elevator in the home. 1 flight of stairs is required to see 2nd floor
12:30pm Enjoy free time and lunch on your own along Savannah's Riverwalk. You'll find an abundance of shops, galleries, restaurants, pubs and hotels overlooking the Savannah River. Stroll the Riverwalk and watch the large container ships headed out to the ocean or inland to the Port of Savannah. It's always a good time to visit Savannah's Waterfront!
2:30pm Board and depart.
3:00pm Visit the American Prohibition Museum. Bring the 20s to life with over 20 intoxicating exhibits and a speakeasy. From gangsters to rumrunners, learn about the most famous characters of the twentieth century. Enjoy an included drink while visiting.
4:00pm Enjoy free time to explore City Market. City Market Savannah is downtown's dynamic center of commerce, creativity, and connection. Experience the shops, restaurants, art galleries.
5:00pm Board and depart.
5:30pm Enjoy included dinner at The Pirate's House. Long-running pirate-themed restaurant offering hearty Southern fare in a rustic, historic inn.
7:00pm Board and depart.
8:15pm Return to the hotel for the evening.

9:00am Arrive at the Kazoo Factory Museum. Tour the Kazoo Factory Museum containing historical kazoos and you'll learn all about how the kazoo was invented and how it has come to be America's most beloved musical instrument.
10:15am Board and depart.
10:45am Visit Lady's Island Oyster for an Oyster Experience. Learn about how important oysters are to the Eco-system, different farming techniques, and enjoy a Tasting.
12:00pm Board and depart.
1:30pm Enjoy free time to shop and have lunch on your own at the charming City Market. Get to know the passionate entrepreneurs, traditions and certified Made in Charleston items found at the Historic Charleston City Market.
3:00pm Arrive at Palmetto Carriage Works.
3:15pm Take a Horse Drawn Carriage Ride through historic Charleston, South Carolina. Rich in over 300 years of history, Charleston is one of the most beautifully preserved historic and architectural treasures in the nation. Significant and lovely structures, beautiful gardens, and centuries-old homes grace the narrow streets. Church bells toll the hour as history unfolds around every corner.
4:30pm Mett your motorcoach. Board and depart.
5:15pm Enjoy dinner included at Lasso Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse. Casual steakhouse highlighting Brazilian staples such as meats and seafood, plus a buffet.
6:45pm Board and depart.
9:00pm Check into Hotel for the night
