Camp Ladore Lodge in P.A. "The Road to the Future"

“A Cruise on Land” is the only way to describe a senior getaway at Ladore. The program offers the 50+ crowd the opportunity to get away at a reasonable price! There is no other place, quite like this place, anywhere near this place. The Ladore Lodge deserves to be commemorated with joy and appreciation. It represents not only longevity, but a legacy of warmth and hospitality that has welcomed generations of guests seeking respite in the tranquil embrace of the Poconos. The program department at Ladore will have available games, guided tours and walking trails, pontoon boat rides, crafts, and much more. You can go from one activity to another, or you can simply relax. Ladore also offers a variety of outdoor activities such as bocce, shuffleboard, corn hole, pickle ball, horseshoes, and a handicapped accessible miniature golf course, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Not to mention, the breathtaking view of the 265 acres of Lake Ladore offers some of the best fishing in the area. Their talented kitchen staff will prepare delicious meals to fuel your adventures, while their chaplains offer inspiring devotions. You’ll be entertained with captivating performances, making memories that will last a lifetime. On Thursday evening a banquet will be a western themed BBQ which should be a lot of fun!! Their Guest Services team provides superior hospitality, ensuring that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

SENIOR SUMMER AT LADORE WHAT TO BRING

• One (1) NEW or (1) SLIGHTLY’ USED item for our fundraiser Auction

• Bring with you a New Bingo Prize Donation for our Bingo Prize Box (Suggested cost of bingo items is between $1.00 to $5.00)

• A bathing suit for the enclosed pool & hot tub plus water aerobics classes

• Comfortable clothing and shoes (sneakers) for outdoor activities • Money for the following. . . Crafts, Auction and Gift Shop • Your PA Driver’s License for Fishing (all Catch & Release) Required Fishing licenses for Ladore have been ‘waived’ again this year for our in-house Ladore guests

• Bring your RED, WHITE AND BLUE to wear on Wednesday for AMERICA 250 DAY! (2026 marks the 250th Anniversary of America’s Independence)

• Participate in our 1776-2026 Semi quincentennial America250 Parade of Costumes-Contest! Dress up in Colonial Times. Dress up as George Washington, Martha Washington, Ben Franklin, James Adams, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Uncle Sam and More! Make a small cardboard float and assemble it here! Have some fun with this and use your imagination!

• Please PLAN to do ‘something’ for our Wednesday Night LADORE VARIETY SHOW (you could also plan something patriotic for your talent if you can’t think of anything else)

• If you have a Ladore lanyard from last year, bring that along with you to hold your program itinerary, name tag and anything personal (If you don’t have one, we sell them in our gift shop) They do come in handy!

• Remember to bring all your daily medications or personal items with you.

• Notify our Senior Reservations if you have a specific life-threatening Food Allergy, if you are Gluten Free, Lactose Intolerant or Vegetarian so that we can make our kitchen chef aware. Please do THIS before you arrive. Thursday Night is a Themed Night > SADDLE UP AND PUT ON YOUR BOOTS!

• Thursday Night Dinner will be Rodeo Round-up BBQ Night > Wear your best Western Attire [Boots, Cowboy Hats, and Bandannas] and join us for a night of sizzling good food, fun & fellowship!
