Day 1

Today we head to Wellsboro Pa
10:30 am BRUNCH & WINE TASTING at SPYGLASS RIDGE WINERY. What is the process of wine
making? You’ll find out here, as well as SNIFF, SWIRL, and SAVOR as you enjoy a few WINE
TASTINGS and a buffet style BRUNCH.
2:00-3:30 pm MILLIONAIRE’S ROW TOUR See the impressive mansions built by the lumber barons of days
gone by and learn the rich history of the lumber capital of the world! Other highlights of the tour
include Memorial Park where the first Little League Baseball game was played and an inside look
of one of the historic buildings.
5:00 Check into the PENN WELLS LODGE for your 2-NIGHT STAY.
6:30 pm DINNER is included at the PENN WELLS HOTEL-MARY WELLS DINING ROOM in downtown
Wellsboro.

Day 2

8:00 am Enjoy BREAKFAST at the hotel.
10:00 HIGHLAND CHOCOLATES TOUR- Located on Historic Route 6 in Wellsboro, Highland
Chocolates is a non-profit chocolate factory and retail store that provides vocational training and
employment for adults with disabilities. Enjoy a tour of the factory complete with a goodie bag
filled with their delicious chocolates.
11:30 FREE TIME for browsing on WELLSBORO’S MAIN STREET. All passengers will be given a
coupon booklet that features many of the shops downtown. Enjoy lunch on your own.
1:30 pm Embark on a guided tour at the PENNSYLVANIA GRAND CANYON OVERLOOK at
LEONARD HARRISON STATE PARK. The panoramic perspective provided by this well
developed State Park area is some of Pennsylvania’s most precious scenery. Enjoy some free
time to take in the views and colorful fall foliage. Stop by the visitor’s center to learn more about
the area as well as shop in their gift shop.
3:45 COVERED WAGON TOUR OF THE GRAND CANYON…Enjoy a tour through the wondrous
Pennsylvania Grand Canyon on a horse-drawn covered wagon. The tour guides are fluent in the
history of the Canyon going back to the 19th century. They will tell the tale while the horses wind their
way on the Pine Creek Rail Trail. Take a jump into history while enjoying everything the canyon has
to offer. The tour runs rain or shine, please dress accordingly.
6:30 pm A TASTE OF TIOGA…Indulge your senses in an unforgettable journey through the heart of Tioga
with our exclusive event. Immerse yourself in the rich flavors and artisanal delights that define this
picturesque region, as we present a culinary experience like no other. Tastings might include maple,
honey, ice cream, seasonings and spices, beef, cheese, wine, and hard cider.
Then, our CHEF will provide a FOUR-COURSE DINNER, featuring a menu that incorporates
some of the local products you have already tasted. And this event would not be complete
without a CULINARY DEMONSTRATION to conclude your evening

Day 3

8:00 am Enjoy BREAKFAST at the hotel.
11:00 NARRATED SIGHTSEEING CRUISE on board the HIAWATHA (reservation made by the
group) on the Susquehanna River as you listen to an audio narration on the rich history of the
lumber era.
12:30-2:00 pm LUNCH at LE JEUNE CHEF…Le Jeune Chef (translated “the young chef”) Restaurant, is
located on the campus of Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport and presents a
fine-dining experience hosted by the College’s School of Business & Hospitality. Your 3-course
meal will include a choice of chicken, beef, or vegetarian. A cash bar will be available. Sit back
and watch as your chef creates a Chocolate Soup.
2:30 pm Depart for home with wonderful memories of your visit to North Central PA
