Day One

Sunday, July 19, 2026
Depart for the Green Mountains of Vermont. Arriving late afternoon we check into our Burlington hotel for the next three evenings. Dinner is included tonight at a local restaurant.

Day Two

Monday, July 20, 2026
Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. Following breakfast, we are joined by our local step on guide who will be with us for the next two days. We will set out for a scenic drive through the University of Vermont campus, the fifth oldest campus in New England. We continue on to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory for a guided tour to see how Vermont's famous "furry friends" are created. Our next stop brings us to the Shelburne Museum where you will have time to explore the 39 exhibit buildings and the SS Ticonderoga at your leisure. Lunch is on your own today in the Museum Café. Following lunch we return to the hotel to relax and freshen up before our evening activities. We will make our way to Historic Church Street in Burlington for a little shopping time before boarding the Spirit of Ethan Allen. We'll enjoy a delicious dinner cruise while cruising on Lake Champlain.

Day Three

Tuesday, July 21, 2026
Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. After breakfast we make our way to the von Trapp Family Lodge. Upon arrival we will be met by a member of the staff for a history talk and short tour followed by the film "Real Maria". You will have a little free time to visit the grounds and gift shop before heading to the von Trapp Bierhall for a delicious buffet lunch served on the Observation Deck. We then make our way to the charming village of Stowe for shopping on your own. The next stop is at the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, where you will see how their delicious apple cider and apple products are made - don't forget to try a homemade cider donut. We then arrive at Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory for a tour and sample of Vermont's famous ice cream. Returning to the hotel you will have time to freshen up before we make our way to a local restaurant for dinner.

Day Four

Wednesday, July 22, 2026
Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. After breakfast, we journey west to Montpelier (Vermont's State Capital) and visit the Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks. Here we will learn about maple sugaring and enjoy a tasty Sugar on Snow. Following our visit we begin our journey home. We will make a stop at the Vermont Country Store Rockingham where you will have the opportunity to explore all the unique gifts and grab a bite to eat on your own. Depart for home.
