Lovely Lazy Days....At the Top of the Bay

Arrive in Cecil County, MD. Let’s begin the day by discovering Mt. Harmon Plantation, a well-preserved 18^th century colonial tobacco plantation overlooking the creeks and inlet of the Sassafras river. We will tour the manor house detached colonial kitchen, smoke house, replica slave quarters, and boxwood gardens. Hungry? Lunch will be at the Chesapeake House along the C and D Canal. Enjoy a crab cake or another local favorite. Dessert is triple chocolate cake! Broken Spoke, a boutique winery located on a horse farm is our next stop. We will play “WINE BINGO” in their rustic tasting room. After our wine time we can venture out to me a variety of the animals including a donkey, sheep, goats, emus, peacocks, horses, and “Gus “ the pig!

Finally, no tour is complete without a trip to the ice cream shop! Return home with many great Eastern Shore Memories!
