Day 1
Depart for your 5 night tour. - Arrive in Montreal. Montreal is the largest city in Quebec and the second-largest city in Canada…known for its rich history, vibrant culture and bilingual population. Welcoming dinner in Old Montreal at the Vieux Port Steakhouse.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, a local guide will join you for a tour of this multicultural city. See the city from the Mount Royal Lookout, pass by Place D'Armes as well as City Hall and Bonsecours Market. Admire the architecture of the Quarter International. Also included is a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral. Notre Dame Basilica was built between 1824 and 1829. The magnificent interior in wood and the boldly modern design of the Notre-Dame-du-Sacre-Coueur Chaptel captivate hundreds of visitors each year. Paintings, sculptures and stained glass windows illustrate biblical passages as well as 350 years of parish history.
Lunch on own, with some free time this afternoon to visit Old Montreal. Old Montreal is a historic neighborhood, known for its cobblestone streets, stunning architecture, and rich cultural heritage dating back to the 17th centure. OR for the shoppers the vibrant shopping area of St. Catherine St. Discover the vibrant heart of Montreal at St. Catherine Street, where shopping, dining, and culture come alive in a bustling urban atmosphere. Enjoy the cuisine of your choice at one of the area restaurants.
Day 3
After breakfast, board the coach for Quebec City. Arrive mid-day. A local guide will join you for a tour of Old Quebec. Gaze at the Citadel of Quebec, the largest fortress in North American. See the Plains of Abraham, site of the French-English Battle in 1759. Have a glance at St. Lawrence River and the Old Port.
Check in to your hotel, located approximately 2 miles from the heart of Old Quebec. A delicious dinner awaits in Old Quebec..
Day 4
- Breakfast included at the hotel. There is more to see today! It's off to St. Anne de Beaupre….the Shrine has been welcoming people from all walks of life for over 350 years. Through a multitude of magnificent paintings, mosaics, stained glass windows, and wooden and stone sculptures, discover the shrine's extraordinary history….
Another must see…..Montmorency Falls, taller than Niagara Falls!. Take a cable car to the top of the cliff to admire the falls from a unique vantage point. The view is breathtaking, any time of year! Cross the suspended bridge to the belvedere, where you can feel the power of the river as it thunders past.
Return to the hotel. Take some time to stroll the cobblestone streets, visit a sidewalk café, and pick up some unique souvenirs.
Dinner in Old Quebec again this evening.
Day 5
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll travel to Canada's Capital….Ottawa. See the sites of this beautiful city with a local guide, including the Byward Market, Sussex Drive where you'll see the residence of the Prime Minister and the Governor General, and scenic parkways. Relax on a 1 hour Rideau Canal Cruise. Get a waterfront view of some of Ottawa's most historic and culturally significant sites. The cruise will let you discover the wonderful Rideau Canal from Dow's Lake to the Ottawa River. Farewell dinner at a popular area restaurant this evening.
B, DDay 6
Breakfast at hotel, followed by departure for home after your fun filled Canadian trip!
